What do we need from sponsors?

You will provide two (2) versions of the advertisement copy by 4 p.m. ET, the Friday prior to the date of your sponsorship.

WTF of SEO? reserves the right to edit the copy of the advertisements for spelling and style as it deems appropriate and will share any changes with the advertiser.

Sponsored advertisements will appear as part of the published version of the newsletter on Substack for six weeks. After six weeks, WTF is SEO? reserves the right to remove the advertisement from our web archive.

Who are Jessie and Shelby?

Jessie Willms is an SEO and audience editor. Previously an interactive web developer for CBC and Toronto Star, she's also a journalism instructor at Centennial College in Toronto. Shelby Blackley is the newsroom SEO editor at The Athletic. She was previously the SEO manager for Mashable and audience engagement editor at The Globe and Mail.
